I saw this post yesterday, so I check these filter in my office with UV light, putting the whole box into the light box, everything glow except the filter.... there's a lot of florenscent substance on the box, not only the white area but also the internal wall of the box.....
so there's something else with in the filter
btw, most industrial bleach contain florenscent agents....

I don't think there's much florenscent substance on that filter paper filter coz I've been keeping using this brand of fiilter on and off for quite a long period of time. This has been clean, without any suspicious odor.
By the way, I don't think florenscent substance won't give the filtered water a yellowish color but a dirty not well washed filter cup may give the yellow color in my opinion.   |
