Perfect Shot is very close to you in the near future.
When you get the espresso machine:
Within your budget, the best buy are:
1- first choice - GAGGIA Baby newer model, I guess it costs $4,?00-
+Feima 600N grinder $850- ***Which is better than $6,?00- R ? Silvi? + Rock? grinder SET that there may a person would send you a PM as offer
* don't buy it from her, try all of them first..
2- second choice - Krups xp 4020 $995-, this machine's espresso performance is better than R_S.
+ Feima 600N grinder$850-.
3- Delongi + Feima 600N grinder
4- R_S + Feima 600N grinder, if you believe cheap thing always BAD, good thing always expensive, then go for R_S + R_R within your budget.
*** Within your budget, grinder within $3,000, 600N is the Best choice. One step better is Feima 900N + SJ original burr,
Mazzer Mini = HKD$4,500-. and HKD$5,000 Mazzer SJ for commercial.
*** for Krups 4020: you need to buy the NON Pressurized basket from the agent $50-80? I am not sure, open the bottom too.
And buy the tailor made steam wand from fresh coffee beans and tea house. - 4020=HKD$995-only... !! Best Buy !!
*** Anyhow, grinder is the most important equipment for espresso.
ONE thing I sure about : Mazzer Mini or Mazzer Super Jolly grinder + Krups xp 4020 espresso machine. Espresso you get must better than you spend same amount to have R_S and R_R !!
Grinder normally is a life machine for home use.
So, get a Mazzer to have good grind first, then upgrade the espresso machine later if you find that 4020 is not enough. BEST combination !!

I made some tests with an expert , the result :
GAGGIA home use model is Better than Krups xp 4020.
4020 and DeLonghi is BETTER than R_S.
600N BETTER than R_R grinder.
Don't trust me too much, I may have strong view.
You can go to fresh Coffee Beans & Tea House to test 3of them yourself and
Do not trust any of us, some people here with ?? & attack others who prefer 4020 or other machines rather than R_S & R_R.
Go & try all of them !! and buy the machine & grinder you like.
***I want to save more money for you to buy other accessories and coffee beans from fresh ** Fresh roast beans.

Rancillo Silvia is a really good machine, reliable and is within ur budget.
However I would suggest that, u at least spend 30% of ur budget in getting a good grinder.

Techno is Taiwan order Reneka to make a semi commercial machine.
OEM machine. I am not sure it is made in France too ??,

Epoca is a newer replacement.

To be honest, I couldn't find a big different with pump machines, on the other hand, Hand Lever is my 1st choice. There is only one with agent here-GAGGIA in SOGO...$9,800- heat exchange:

Better after taste and easier to drink for beginners especially ladies. I have seen many ladies to have manual lever or spring lever machine made espresso is more easier to accept than the pump machines made. Pumps are sharper than levers a lots. Love it or not -> too personal ...
Better temperature for drink and more details espresso than pump machine, of course, very very quiet too.
2-Sorry, Not agree, Gaggia TWIN BABY is newer model and I believe a Professional home machine maker makes better home machines and more models for customers to choose, of course, this is the stupidness of the HONG KONG agent not providing the metal body model- Gaggia Classic before.
Pure Home machine with double boiler. - This is the 1st one I think.
3-Gaggia: 100cc - 60cc = 40cc left ??? ??? How ??? and the group under the boiler directly won't lose heat too much.
R_S the distance between boiler and group is too far.
4-Have you tried their grind quality ??? Did you compare it with 600N ???
If you think about the question 1 machines, Rocky won't be your choice.
Mazzer mini or SJ ... and 900N is the minimum requirement.
5-Make one cup of espresso ***within every5 minutes won't be a large ??... No body complaint I guess ever since.
Solution: Modification. Also go to Fresh to have more information for it.
6-Yes, By the way, what is your exact budget ?? how deep you love to make espresso yourself at home ???

I guess HKD$60,000 should bring them home.
