Sorry, I nearly forget each 4020 may need different weight of beans.
em, try to fix the volume of beans first. 12.6-13.??g ??
I always DO pre-infusion with all machine.
That the coffee compounds expanded; may be I am wrong- due to your extraction too fast.
For me, I want to make sure the extraction is stable and even. Try more and practice more, afterward, you enjoy it...
But different bean should work with different weight...and grind settings.

Work hard ar....


Crema :
1- This Bean has enough fat for it ?
2- Keep it for 5-7days after fried. Try Try...

Some super Crema bean the favour not very welcome.

12.5-12.8g seems good for your 4020.

lock this weight and yr tamping - I think good wor.

There is a little adjustment button on the grinder.
May be set 1step finer and use the little adjustment button to refine it...

Once the shot become blone, leave the shot.
It is over extracted...

We just want the best part of the shot...

WORK HARD WORK HARD...
It is too fast to get 1kg beans for new machine setup...
