Alex, 如果玩低溫烘焙, 可能開埋條Delta-BT graph會易睇啲
呢一Batch的目標為delta-bt盡量拉平, 但發覺有啲難度

Seem quite well after 160C.

The delta-BT during the drying phase is higher than the delta-BT after the BT reached 160C. You may drop the power after the "charge" a bit to "improve" the straight line.

One thing I cannot understand is the "ROR" curve, is it same as delta-BT/ET curve? The delta-BT reading is around 8-12C, how come ROR is in range of 30-40?

RoR (Rate of Rise) of BT = Delta-BT
My ET probe is measuring the air temperature entering the inside of drum. It refers to the heat that can be conducted to the beans by air. At the same time, the beans also physically contact the hot drum surface, that means there is another supply of heat by conduction (and this is not directly reflected in the chart but somewhat reflected in ET and input power).

我覺得我果個Roast幾好飲喎, 起碼沖咁多次都無飲到有怪味, 啜吸會出到複雜的berry味, 味道好順口, 我開始發覺自唔識形容啲味度, 睇黎係時候搵cupping的正式course上下..

我見PT rate隻Elida Natural Process (你要果啲係estate reserve, 唔係natural process)有成93, 而coffee review話有95, 不過唔知我地果batch係咪同batch, 不過叻極都好, 真係完全無啲 90+ Nekisse爆香咁誇張

I found it very bright with green apple and citrus taste, the aroma is very pleasant and elegant the body is average and aftertaste is long. If comparing side by side, my preference is still Ethiopian coffee.

"睇你條Delta-BT到尾段上升喎" yes, this batch is 150g, but I use similar manual profile of my past few "straight-line" roasts with batch size of 200g therefore the rate of is higher in the middle of the FC which is not desirable.

Do they provide modification to 220V? I am not sure if step down transformer can give enough power.

顏生有出220v的版本, 發熱線/風扇/電流錶係同110v唔一樣的

Even the result of straight-line roasting may not be perfect and as expected. It is a good training and exercise for controlling your roaster. I think it just a like doing "copybook" exercise to children. It may be also interesting to imitate other curve.

It is not a good bean Nicaragua "elephant" bean. It was roasted last night, so tomorrow may be better time to try.

I am not using (A), I am using PID to control the MET, I set MET to 270 before charge and set it to 230C at charge, add 10C in every min. (200g)
